When should we do the first auction?

Mid-season for me. Gives sides chance to use some now, teams will all have different budgets and its a good chance to strengthen.

Mid-season. Will give people a chance to evaluate where they need to strengthen. Also will drain some money from the league and let you figure out how much end of season prime money/sponsorship to pump back in.

Now and Mid-season would be my preference. Just like crappy FIFA windows.

End of season, please. Let's use this quasi-season to get a handle on how this is all going to work, and save the big moves and changes for the first season proper?
Bear in mind everyne is going to have effectively the same cash now and midseason with no wages / gate receipts . . . an auction under those conditions is almost literally a crap shoot.
